Vijayawada: The ruling TDP leaders have become speechless following the schemes announced by YSRCP chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy during the two-day party’s State plenary, claimed K Parthasarathy, YSRCP Krishna district president here on Monday.
Former minister K Parthasarathy says Y S Jagan will emulate YSR and implement people friendly schemes
Speaking to the media persons here, Parthasarathy said that after the successful plenary of YCP and the schemes offered to the people of AP by Jagan, the ruling party went into a state of shock.
He said former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy had introduced and implemented successful people’s friendly schemes. Jagan too would emulate his father and implement schemes which would benefit people. The former Minister said the people of the State would have to bear with the ugly rule of TDP only for two more years.
He strongly condemned the TDP leaders statements that the plenary was organised only to abuse TDP. He said the plenary was held to announce schemes for the poor and the needy people of AP, schemes which benefit farmers, Dwcra women and senior citizens.
Schemes related to education, Houses for poor and Aarogyasri have also been announced, Parthasarathy pointed out. YSRCP official spokesperson Jogi Ramesh alleged that the Chief Minister received kickbacks from foreign companies by handing over precious lands to international companies.
He further said that input subsidy was given to contractors and industrialists instead of giving it to farmers. He said records pertaining to thousands of acres of government land were tampered by the ruling TDP leaders in Visakhapatnam and the same was confirmed by the District Collector and TDP Ministers.
Stating that the government was boasting of providing Pattiseema water to West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam districts, he said the farmers were not happy as there was no proper market for their crop.
He said that Jagan would stand by the people and solve their problems. He would announce various schemes to different sections of people during his Padayatra. YSRCP leaders M Nagarjuna, Shiva rama Krishna, K Pulla Rao and others were present.
