Nellore: TDP district president and MLC Beeda Ravichandra said that the government would not spare anyone in cricket betting case whether they are from any political party or from any other section who involved in the unlawful activity.
Interacting with the media persons at NTR Bhavan on Sunday, Ravichandra said the investigation is going on impartially and there were no political pressures on the process.
He added the district police would take stern action against such cricket bookies. Responding to the government employees’ issue, the MLC alleged that YSRCP has been spreading false news through their media to create panic among government employees.
No such GO has been issued by the government to remove employees from their service who have completed 50 years of age, he added. The MLC also appealed to employees not to believe such rumours being spread through media. Beeda said the TD government had supported and provided full liberty to the employees from all sectors.
The government in fact had hiked the retirement age from 58 to 60 years, he added. The MLC also warned that they would take severe action against media which broadcast such false news.
