Prevent disease in cattle with early detection: Vice-Chancellor
Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) Vice-Chancellor Y Haribabu has directed the scientists to diagnosis the disease in cattle based on the pathology samples within stipulated time as it will help the farmers to protect their cattle. A five-day training programme on disease diagnosis in cattle training was inaugurated by Haribabu at SVVU State Diagnostics Lab here on Tuesday.

A five-day training programme on disease diagnosis in cattle training was inaugurated by Haribabu at SVVU State Diagnostics Lab here on Tuesday.
Addressing the scientists, the V-C stated that cattle can be protected with early detection of disease. Later, SVVU Director (Extension) Dr D Srinivasulu said that veterinary doctors should more and more vigilant in disease diagnosis. Otherwise, veterinary doctors cannot save the cattle or any other animals.
In the training programme, doctors and scientists will be learning the advanced diagnosis techniques as it will improve the professional skills in detection of diseases in cattle. Dean (Research) Ragava Rao, Programme Coordinator Dr Rani, veterinary scientists and Assistant Directors from Animal Husbandry department were present.
