Yetapaka police on Sunday arrested a Maoist courierat Charla-Bhadrachalam Road during a search operation. Speaking to media here on Monday, Chinturu Sub-Divisional Police Officer Dileep Kiran said Sanjit Mandal, 37 of Malkangiri, Odisha, was arrested and seized olive green cloth (204 meters), rexene cloth (50meters), Rs 68,000 and a motor cycle from his possession.

Speaking to media here on Monday, Chinturu Sub-Divisional Police Officer Dileep Kiran said Sanjit Mandal, 37 of Malkangiri, Odisha, was arrested and seized olive green cloth (204 meters), rexene cloth (50meters), Rs 68,000 and a motor cycle from his possession.
He said Sanjit was attracted to Maoism since 2006 and helping them by supplying needful items. Sanjit also purchased a bike with collected money and transporting essentials to Maoists on his bike. Police said he had purchased green cloth and rexene cloth at Vijayawada.
