The issue relating to the alleged sexual harassment of the post-graduate students of JNTU has come to the notice of District Collector Mishra.
Kakinada: The issue relating to the alleged sexual harassment of the post-graduate students of JNTU has come to the notice of District Collector Mishra. According to sources the PG students including VC Kumar, accompanied by State Women’s Commission Member S Rajya Lakshmi, met the Collector here on Monday and made complaints. The Collector sought details of harassment in JNTU.
Then, Mishra suggested the M.Tech students that they should complain to Police through University’s Vice-Chancellor. He told them that they should submit a complaint to the V-C and it would be forwarded to the Police department and the police would probe the issue. Mishra also suggested them to end the issue.
