The students of Nuzvid Triple IT staged a protest demanding that the management provide drinking water. The students said that they started facing hardships due to power cut. According to reports, the transformer was damaged in a fire accident on Saturday. Immediately, the campus plunged into darkness.
Vijayawada: The students of Nuzvid Triple IT staged a protest demanding that the management provide drinking water. The students said that they started facing hardships due to power cut. According to reports, the transformer was damaged in a fire accident on Saturday. Immediately, the campus plunged into darkness.
Automatically, the students faced problem for drinking water also. Though there was sufficient water in the sumps, the motors were unable to supply water due to power failure. The students blamed the management for not arranging alternative mechanism in the campus during an emergency. They raised slogans against the college management.
However, the management made alternative arrangements by bringing water with tankers.
Triple IT director Venkata Dasu Speaking to The Hans India said that the students faced problem for only three hours but now there was no problem. He said that presently power is being supplied with generators support. Already, a transformer was arranged to fix in the place of damaged transformer, he said.
The situation would return to normalcy on Sunday morning and old transformer would also be repaired as early as possible, he said. The students were given utmost priority and there was no problem to the students, he added.
