According to reliable information, the Maoists divided themselves into three groups after the attack and fled into the dense forest blocks of Odisha and Telangana State. Landmines and other explosives are planted to stop the advance of armed forces should any ambush take place, as had happened in Balimela incident, which claimed 38 police lives,” a police official from Paderu told The Hans India.
