5G communication tech will come by 2020

Guntur: University of Malaysia Wireless Communication Centre director Prof Tharek Abdul Rahman said that 5G communication will come within the reach of people by 2020. He addressed a meeting held on 5G Communication Application Technology at Vignan’s University at Cherbolu in Guntur district on Wednesday.
He said that if 5G technology would come within the reach of people, mobile, internet, upload and download would gain speed. He said that drones would also work based on the this technology and added that internet of things also possible.
University of Hawai Prof Jasan Leeve said that many countries would get 5G technology before 2020. He said, fitness devise which we wear watch our health condition and alert the doctors in case of need. ISRO former director S Pareswaran said the Central government had allotted Rs 500 crore for 5G services and South Korea was making arrangements to start 5G services from next year. Vignan University Vice-Chancellor MYS Prasad was also present.
