Amaravati: Taking a serious note of the criticism of the opposition parties on the recovery and distribution of assets of scam-tainted AgriGold properties in the state, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has directed the Advocate General Dammalapati Srinivas to implement the High Court judgement as it is.
He reviewed the progress of the case on Sunday, in which Srinivas explained the details to the Chief Minister. Naidu suggested that the AG bring the actual position of the assets and properties of the group along with the public grievances to the notice of the court.
Stating that the opposition parties were indulging in politics of mudslinging on AgriGold properties, he asked the government functionaries to implement the court judgements without any deviation.
At this juncture, Naidu also asked the AG to file a separate affidavit against those who are attributing motives to court’s judgement. He said that the YSRCP and other political parties in the state were provoking the public for their political benefits.
Reiterating that the government would do justice to the AgriGold victims as per the guidelines of the court, he said scam took place during the previous government and now it spread over five states.
