ONGC’s KG Basin extends 5.5 crore aid under Corporate Social Responsibility

Rajamahendravaram: ONGC's KG-Basin led by V Syam Mohan, ED-Basin Manager, Krishna Godavari Basin, has extended aid of Rs 5.5 crore for 2018-19 under Corporate Social Responsibility.
The assistance was given for schools, upgradation of tailoring unit of Central Prison in Rajahmundry, toilets, strengthening hospital infrastructure and cycle sheds in schools in East Godavari, West Godavari and Krishna districts.
The aid was disbursed to beneficiaries on Friday by B P Ram Prasad, DGM-Head Forward Base of KG Basin in Rajahmundry and A K Jain, GM-Head Regional Lab, Rajahmundry.
Speaking on the occasion, Prasad said that ONGC was committed to development of operational areas and will walk the extra mile for improving the development index of region. He sought the cooperation of beneficiaries in spreading the message of ONGC's contribution to society.
He exhorted the beneficiaries to act as ambassadors of ONGC in the field. ONGC has immense potential and technical prowess to take on operational challenges and without compromising on safety of the employees, communities around and its environs. The programme was attended by the ONGC's staff.
