Hyderabad: As part of its expansion plan, city-based digital marketing firm GenY Medium has commenced overseas operations by entering Toronto, Canada. GenY Medium’s proprietary technologies enable ad-performance tracking, conducting market research digitally and curating engaging content.

GenY Medium signed an agreement in the presence of Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao, Francois-Phillipe Champagne, Minister of International Trade, Canada, on Friday at an event of Indo-Canadian bilateral relationships.

Yashwant Kumar, Co-founder and CEO, GenY Medium, said: “We’ll ramp up headcount in Canada to 50 in next three years to serve over 100 brands in Canada, thereby helping them grow their business using digital technologies.

We’re already serving a few customers and brands in Canada. By setting footprint in the region, GenY will not only contribute to Indo-Canadian trade relations, but with our larger vision of setting up a very technology focused digital marketing firm, help SMBs in Canada use digital marketing to grow their business."

Co-founder of the company Ravi Jain adds: “GenY’s suite of technologies adds a layer of sophistication to the usual methods of running digital advertising and social media.” The expansion is an outcome of a trade delegation’s business attraction visit from Canada to Hyderabad earlier in 2017, inviting companies in India to explore business opportunities in Canada.
