‘Reporter’, starring ‘Gangaputhrulu’ fame Ramki and starlet Tashu Kaushik in the lead roles is all set to hit the screens shortly. The teaser and logo of the film were unveiled on Thursday in Hyderabad. A socio-relevant drama of a bond between a senior journalist and a budding reporter who wants to be successful, the film also sees director N Shankar applying the grease paint for the first time. He said that he took the help of newspapers time and again to motivate himself on a regular basis. “A journalist is one who directs the people about the society. There is a judge in every journalist. He goes to places that even the Sun can’t,” Shankar said.

Besides reflecting the society, journalism should also direct the society, said director of the film Kathi Mahesh. Senior actor Chalapathy Rao, who plays a pivotal role in the film, said that it also boasts of family emotions. Ramki is producing the film on GRK Films. Ten TV CEO Arun Sagar and T News MD Santosh too were spotted at the launch.
