Gopala...Gopala goes on floors

Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan-starrer remake of ‘Oh My God!’ has been titled as ‘Gopala…Gopala’. Helmed by Dolly of ‘Tadakha’ fame, the anticipated flick, after witnessing delays, has finally gone on to floors on Monday in Hyderabad. Besides the lead stars, actress Shriya, who will play Venky’s wife in the film, also participated in the muhurat ceremony.

A joint production between Suresh Babu and Pawan Kalyan’s friend Sharat Marar, the film will be completed in one long schedule, with a notable outing in Varanasi. Senior writer Bhoopathy Raja is on board for the film’s screenplay along with Dolly and Deepak Raj, while toast of the season, Anoop Rubens, has replaced his Bollywood counterpart Sohail Sen for the music. Mithun Chakraborthy, Ranganath, Posani Krishna Murali, Rallapalli and Krishnudu will be essaying supporting roles.
