For Pawan, it's politics over films?

Pawan had difficult times in between when he signed some movies like Johnny, Gudumba Shankar, Bangaram, Puli amd Teenmaar which did miserably at the Box Office. Then it was Gabbar Singh, the Telugu remake of the Hindi hit Dabangg that put him back in the No.1 slot. This was followed by Atharintiki Daredhi which too broke all box office records. Pawan's style and dialogue delivery not to forget his generous help to needy people has made him one of the most popular stars in Southern cinema.

We already told you that Pawan has two movies in hand now - Gopala Gopala with Venkatesh (a remake of Hindi hit Oh My God) and Gabbar Singh sequel. Although the actor has shot a few portions of Gopala Gopala, Gabbar Singh 2 seem to be in trouble as there's no news of when the movie will actually go on floors. The leading lady too is yet to be finalised. Amid all these, Pawan's presence on and off on the political scene has created strong rumours in filmnagar circles if Pawan is more inclined towards politics than movies.
