AM Ratnam’s son to mark his return with Gopi’s film

In what will be a comeback of sorts for AM Jyothi Krishna in the director’s saddle after more than a decade in Telugu, actor Gopichand has green-lit his script. Son of noted producer AM Ratnam, Jyothi has earlier directed the romantic drama ‘Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu’, starring Tarun, Trisha and Shriya.

Thrilled to have got a 'go-ahead' from the macho actor, the director is presently giving final touches to the script. “Gopichand liked the script and asked the director to develop the screenplay with a few enhancements,” said a source.

Apparently, the filmmaker is keen to unleash the whacky side of the actor in this action entertainer. “Gopichand has a side to him hitherto unexplored and the director is keen to tap it,” added the source. The film is likely to go on to sets early next year.
