Mohanlal plays a store manager

That Mohanlal is staging a comeback in Tollywood after two decades with Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s Telugu and Malayalam bilingual is a known thing. In this regard, Hans Talkies has learnt that the Malayalam superstar will play a store manager in the family drama. Titled ‘Manamantha’, the film also features Gauthami and Urvashi in the lead.

A source from the unit confirms, “Mohanlal will be playing the role of a store keeper. Since he hails from a humble background, he wanted to play the role with authenticity and keep it as real as possible. His makeup will be minimal. He will be sporting beard and will flaunt a different hairdo.” The film revolves around middle-class families and their day to day apprehensions and vulnerabilities.
