Ram out of Anil Ravipudi’s next

Remuneration issues lead Ram to exit the project. Anil Ravipudi is likely to narrate the script to NTR shortly

“Happy to announce that My 15th film with @anilravipudi is going to be a super special one! Blind yet commercial…,” tweeted Ram two-and-a-half months ago, much to the delight of his fans. But seems like his excitement is short-lived as we hear that he is no longer the lead hero of the yet-untitled project and the makers are looking at other options.

A source close to producer Dil Raju, who is likely to produce the film along with Kalyranram, confirms, “There were some issues between Dil Raju and Ram and both the parties failed to come to a common ground, ruling out a tie-up.”

The source further adds, “Both Ram and Ravipudi are good friends and were equally excited about the project but it’s just that things didn’t work out. Ravipudi fought for Ram but in vain. He even briefed Ram what’s going on the production front 10 days ago. However, if not now they would be teaming up in the near future for sure.”

A source close to Ram says, “Despite hectic parleys, Raju was not interested to pay Ram the amount that he quoted, causing the fallout. The script was never an issue, though its only half-way through. Ram has moved on to his next with Karunakaran and the work related to this is in full swing. His uncle Sravanthi Ravi Kishore will be producing it. He has also recently registered a title ‘Crazy Feelings’ for the film.”

Source close to Raju inform that Ravipudi is full concentrating on the script and he intends to take the film on to floors this year-end. “Since Raju is busy with other productions like ‘Fidaa’, ‘Nenu Local’, ‘Shatamanam Bhavathi’ and ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’, the work on Ravipudi’s film is going at a snail’s pace. Raju has arranged Ravipudi a meeting with NTR and if the actor evinces interest it is likely that he will play the lead. ”
