Charan as RAW agent in Ratnam’s next?
While Ram Charan would be moving to Sukumar’s next shortly, we also hear that there’s a lot of groundwork going on with regards to his movie with Mani Ratnam.
While Ram Charan would be moving to Sukumar’s next shortly, we also hear that there’s a lot of groundwork going on with regards to his movie with Mani Ratnam. Though the actor dropped hints about playing a RAW agent in one his upcoming films while promoting ‘Dhruva’ at Facebook office, Hyderabad last year, we hear it is in Ratnam’s film that he’d be seen as a RAW agent.
“Yes, he’d be playing a RAW agent who is on a mission. It’d be a full on action film with the drama that you generally associate with Ratnam. Charan has been discussing the story with the acclaimed director for long and it was only last year that he finalised it. There’s every chance for the film to be made in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously,” sources say. Sources further add that the film is likely to be announced this month-end.
