Mumbai: Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar says he is working for an international project called "Mumbai Mist" for an upcoming film festival.

Bhandarkar on Saturday shared a photograph of the sea on an early morning.

"Early morning shift for the shoot of international project 'Mumbai Mist' for the BRICS Film Festival," he captioned the image.

Actor Parvin Dabas is working with Bhandarkar on the movie.

"Early morning 6:30 a.m. call time shoot across the sea link, Worli. This city is beautiful in the morning," Parvin posted on his Facebook page, along with a video of a drive on the sea link.

Parvin also described Bhandarkar as "the coolest director".

"Always a great time on set," he said.

Other than this project, Bhandarkar is busy working on his upcoming film "Indu Sarkar", which will release on July 21.

The movie is reportedly based on the Emergency era, a 21-month period from 1975 to 1977, when Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared a state of emergency across the country. It features Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kirti Kulhari and Bengali actor Tota Roy Chowdhury.

A recipient of the Padma Shri, Bhandarkar is known for his socially relevant films like "Traffic Signal", "Chandni Bar", "Fashion" and "Page 3".
