While Sanaya-Mohit were the runner ups the ultimate trophy competition was between Divyanka and Vivek and Sanam and Abigail and with the audience's support, Divek took the trophy home for the 8th season of Nach Baliye! From heavy-duty emotional to fun to extreme powerpacked performances, Divek consistently presented cinematic performances with a few highs & lows but battled till the very end.

Both their families had flown down to Mumbai to support the duo and we hear that the couple feels their family's presence has always been lucky for them. There was lots of dance in the form of band baja and then a private dinner post with family post the finale for Divyanka and Vivek. Vivek says, “This is my first award and staring at it right now I feel its all the more special as I am sharing it with my wife.

Its been a beautiful journey and the trophy is the best anniversary gift we could have gotten. This show is about companionship and we have had such a wonderful journey together in which we got the opportunity to spend more time, understand each other and kept challenging ourselves with new forms of dance every week and ultimately growing together as dancers. ”

Divyanka further adds in, “We have gone from baraati dancers to having learnt so many forms of dance and challenging ourselves week after week to keep trying something new and learning something different. And the support we have received from our audience has been the most special part of this journey! They have brought the trophy home and we are all the more grateful to them for having been with us in this journey!”
