Aamir Khan says he has started prepping for his next project by getting in shape on a strict diet.

Khan interacted with media on Sunday when he was spotted brunching with friends and daughter Ira at the 'Mia Cucina' in Bandra, Mumbai.

When asked what he prefers at brunch meals the actor revealed about his strict diet

He said, "Earlier I used to eat a lot for Sunday brunches, but now I am on a strict diet for my next film. I have started getting back into shape."

On asking about the new project the actor chose to stay hush. "I can not tell you which one, but it is my upcoming film."

Talking about his experience at the Mia Cucina he said, "I have come here to congratulate the entire team of Mia Cucina. It is a restaurant which look wonderful the food here is wonderful and Basap is an old friend of mine. I am really happy for him and the Mia Cucina team and I wish them all the very best.

I hope you are successful and people will like to come here and enjoy it. Bandra is anyway a place where people like to come and enjoy themselves, so it is a great new place."

Aamir's last release, 'Thugs of Hindostan' failed at the box office with barely crossing 150 crores on the 19th day. The film was made on a budget of over Rs 300 crore and is the costliest film that came out of Yash Raj Films.

The film tells a fictional story set between 1790 and 1805. The Fantasy entertainer starred Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh and British actor Lloyd Owen in the pivotal roles.

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the movie released on 8th November 2018.
