Balrampur: A five-year-old girl was allegedly sexually molested by a youth in Sahdullahnagar area here, police said today.
The incident happened yesterday when the accused, identified as Kapil Dev, lured and convinced the minor to accompany him to a secluded place, Superintendent of Police Lalsahab Yadav said.
The victim had come to attend a marriage function late last night, he said.
The accused raped her and fled from the spot afterwards.
