Serial offender held; 560 gm gold recovered
The Rajendranagar special CCS team on Wednesday arrested a notorious property offender and seized about 560 grams of gold ornaments and more than half a kilogram of silver items from his possession. The accused was identified as Komire Anjaiah alias Anjaiah (65) of Rajendranagar and a gang member of Gabbar Singh was arrested.

The accused was identified as Komire Anjaiah alias Anjaiah (65) of Rajendranagar and a gang member of Gabbar Singh was arrested.
"Anjaiah was a member of a notorious Gabbar Singh dacoit gang led by his brother, Gabbar Singh alias Komire Yadaiah, who died ten years ago in an accident. During eighties and nineties, the gang operated in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and surrounding districts. The gang members committed number of murders, dacoities and robberies.
Some of his old associates died and the remaining is inactive due to ill health and old age. Despite his age, Anjaiah remained active and continued with his criminal activities on house-breaking spree,” Cyberabad DCP (Crime) B Naveen Kumar said. Anjaiah was involved in at least 14 such cases under Rajendranagar police station limits, he added.
