SSC-2014 topper commits suicide

Khammam: SSC-2014 topper and senior Intermediate student allegedly committed suicide at her residence in Venkatapuram village of Kothagudem mandal in Khammam on Saturday.

The student, Chinala Priyanka (17), is pursuing Intermediate second year in Krishnaveni Junior College in Kothagudem. She came to her native place Venkatapuram for Dasara vacation.

On Saturday, when there was nobody at home, she committed suicide by hanging herself with a saree. Priyanka was the topper in SSC-2014 in Telangana.

Police have registered a case and are investigating. There was no clue about any suicide note, the police said.
