It's Dr Ali!

Academy of Universal Global Peace will be presenting ace comedian Ali who's been in the industry for more than 34 years, having essayed wide-variety roles, with a Doctorate. The actor will be heading to Coimbatore on May 25 to receive the honour. Getting to know this development, superstar Pawan Kalyan who shares a special equation with Ali, shared the joy with him and congratulated him on the sets of his upcoming 'Attarintiki Dharedhi'. Unit members including director Trivikram, producer BVSN Prasad, actors Ravi Prakash and Amit too congratulated the 'Yamaleela' star. Movie Artistes Association (MAA) President Murali Mohan too was not far behind showering praise on Ali, fondly called as Navvula Raraju. "I was elated after knowing that Ali was considered for this recognition. He deserves it thoroughly," said Murali Mohan. Ali is the secretary of MAA. Ali said that besides being a part of the industry, his services to the society for the past five years through a NGO named after his father, has brought him the recognition.
