Visakhapatnam: The YSR Congress Party will strive to build a ‘mahanagar’ better than Hyderabad in Seemandhra.
This was stated by YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy while addressing the party’s ‘Janapadam’ public meeting at Tagarapuvalasa, in Visakhapatnam district, on Thursday. The Kadapa MP alleged that when TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu headed the State government the administration had terrorized people. He accused Naidu of making ‘false’ promises like providing 3.5 crore jobs, when there was a scope for only 20,000 across the State.
Jagan wanted the TDP president jailed for making such promises to people. He questioned Naidu how the party could extend support to the State Reorganization Bill, which was ‘unjust’ to people of Seemandhra. The YSRCP leader observed that politicians should make efforts to understand the poor. He claimed that the late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy still lived in the hears of people. Jagan defended YSR’s regime, saying it enjoyed people’s trust.
