Piler: Former chief minister and Jai Samaikyandhra Party (JSP) founder-president N Kiran Kumar Reddy had a busy schedule on Friday in his native village Kalikiri(Nagaripalli) the second day of his campaign in Chittoor district.

Kiran Reddy first visited Tarigonda in Gurramkonda mandal where he called on the bereaved family of Sudhakar Goud, his close follower and former ZPTC who died recently, before returning home.
Later, in his ancestral home in Nagaripalli he received a host of his friends, followers and party functionaries who turned up from various mandals. After interacting with them, Reddy addressed party functionaries and activists.
Sources said that Kiran Reddy enquired about the election which was held recently for ZPTC and MPTC and elicited information on the prospects of JSP in Piler constituency and also in other areas where it fielded candidates for MPTC and ZPTC seats in the district.
He told the activists to ensure that the party fares well in Piler in the Assembly election. He also explained that the general election is crucial as it is being held after the creation of Telangana and stressed on the need to ensure the success of JSP in the election.
According to party sources, Kiran Reddy will participate in road shows in Somala, Punganur and Palamaner in Chttoor district on Saturday.
