AU lecturer receives doctorate for HIV capsule

Andhra University has awarded an honorary doctorate to Jasti Jyothirmayi, who is working as lecturer in the KVS Siddhartha College of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The university had recognised her work in developing a capsule to fight HIV.

She had also received honours in international workshops in Singapore and Abu Dhabi for her fighting against the deadly disease. College secretary Paladugu Lakshmana Rao, principal Dr G Devala Rao, director Dr N Butchi Naidu and others congratulated Dr Jyotirmayi on being honoured with honorary doctorate by Andhra University.
