It’s a feast for eyes especially for women as Hastashilpi artisans and weavers welfare association is organising a six day Silk India Expo at Sri Sathya Sai Nigamagamam. It will be on till May 18. Hand block print sarees, suit and silk bed covers, designer dress materials and border, lazes, kurtis, hand woven matka and Assam Muga fabrics, Apoorva silk saris, Baluchari, Dhaka masli, Gicha sarees, boutique sarees, Kantha, Zordoshi, Lucknow chikan work, Bhagalpur suits and much many more products will be available at the expo.


Tollywood actress Hamida and socialite Shalini Modani inaugurated the exposition by lighting the traditional lamp. “Its glad to see various apparels, particularly silk sarees and designer wear, furnishings to be showcased under one roof,” said actress Hamida.
