DV ManoharDV Manohar, chairman of the Hyderabad Bicycling Club and board member of World Cycling Alliance (WCA) has been bestowed with the rare honour of addressing the World Cycling Conference Velo City 2015 at Nantes, France. The conference will be held between June 2 and 5.


Along with Manohar, the event will be addressed by a galaxy of eminent speakers like Dominque Lebrun, ministry of ecology and energy, France; Conny Bieze, regional minister, Netherlands; Andre Dzikus, UNO, Johanna Rolland, Mayor of Nantes, Chou Li Fang, deputy mayor of Taipei (Taiwan) and Manfred Neun, President of World Cycling Alliance. The closing plenary session is expected to be attended by over 1,200 delegates from all over the world.


Manohar will also be speaking at a special TV Show session ‘Bicycle with pride of place in housing and public space’ at the Velo City 2015 which will be telecast live by French TV. At the closing plenary, Manohar will speak on WCA's support to cities, states/regions and countries across the world to promote cycling and also announce some prestigious voluntary commitments by WCA to the UN.

Under the chairmanship of Manohar, Hyderabad Bicycling Club has emerged as the largest cycling club online overtaking Denver Cycling Club, USA.
