Centenarian producer K Raghava felicitated
Veteran producer K Raghava, who has been in the field for nearly 90 years, was felicitated at Thyagaraja Gana sabha by Siddhendra Arts Academy.Artiste Narayana Murthy who graced the occasion spoke about the 103-year-old filmmaker who has made 27 films as a producer of which 25 were blockbusters.

“He has travelled 100 years with Indian cinema and introduced directors like Dasari Narayana Rao and Kodi Ramakrishna. He played a key role in shifting the film industry to Hyderabad. However, his work hasn’t been recognised,” said Narayana Murthy. “Government must honour him with Padma Vibhushan award in the next term of awards.

On this occasion I sincerely requesting him to write a book on his entire life, that will inspire young producers and directors, who are coming into the film industry,” he added. Artistes K Balayya, Ranganath and Dr Devasena also participated in the event.
