Based on the recommendations of P Bharath Babu, the District Coordinator of the Social Welfare Ashram and Residential Schools and R S Praveen Kumar, the Secretary of Social Welfare Department had confirmed the names of T Shivanarayana of Annapureddypalli Boys College as the best Headmaster, P V N Papa Rao of Palvoncha Boys College as the best English teacher, K Shailaja of Nelakondapalli Girls College as the best Post Graduate teacher and M Swetha of Danvaigudem Girls College as the best graduate teacher.
District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar presented the awards and appreciation letters to the winners during the 67th Republic Day celebrations at Police Parade Grounds on Tuesday.
Dr Kota Rambabu, district president of Social Welfare Ashram and Residential Schools and M Venkanna, District General Secretary along with Principals and teachers working in various welfare schools in Khammam district conveyed their wishes to the teachers, who received appreciation letters for their excellent work.
