​Karimnagar: District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed suggested to the representatives of State Bank of Hyderabad - Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBH-RSETI) to train more number of unemployed youth so that many can settle in their life.

He chaired a review meeting with the district-level Advisory committee of SBH-RSETI in the Collectorate conference hall in Karimnagar on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, SBH-RSETI Director P Dattadri said the institute had provided training in nearly 153 different fields to about 4,453 unemployed youth in the district. Out of them, 3,388 youth were settled in their life either by linking up with the banks or by self-employment.

He also said that the institute has been giving training only in Karimnagar at Swashakti Bhavan, near Ambedkar Stadium but in coming up days the training will be given in their own building at Thimmapur. The youth will be provided with free boarding and lodging during training, he added.

District-level Advisory committee members B Gangadhar Rao, R Ravi Babu, Pratap, Bhargav, Assistant General Manager of State Bank of Hyderabad, District Employment Officer Ch Uma Rani and M Vijay Kumar were present along with others.
