Baahubali-2 mania grips Amaravati

Almost all theaters in the city were playing ‘Baahubali-2 The Conclusion’ on their screens, with shows starting 6am in the morning from Friday. The Task force police arrested four people who were selling tickets in black and have seized 60 movie tickets and an amount of Rs 20,000 from them.

Fans started to pour into screens from 5am and showed their love for either the film or the actors in them, through some celebrations in front of the theatres. Members of the Prabhas Fans Association poured milk over posters of Prabhas.

S Ravi Reddy, a fan of Prabhas said, “The Director, SS Rajamouli has made the film matching it to Hollywood’s standards. There is a lot of technology used in portraying the war scenes and I feel, no Tollywood director can come up to the level Rajamouli has.”

Most fans shouted slogans in connection to the movie while walking out of the theatres after the screening. Almost all theatres were sold out through online portals and other sources. The police force has tightened security forces at the screens to avoid sale of black tickets.

A few disappointed fans had to head back home due to lack of tickets across counters and heavy rush. A few traffic problems also arose close to the screens due to the movie screening.
