Kothagudem: District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Project Director P Jagath Kumar Reddy said Bhadradri-Kothagudem is the first district to geo-tag Haritha Haram saplings.
Speaking to The Hans India on Wednesday, he said, out of the target of planting 1.6 crore saplings, 1.5 crore have already been planted.
The Forest department is protecting saplings by installing tree guards. The Project Officer states that geo-tagging would be very useful in the future.
