MLA distributes Kalyana Lakshmi cheques
MLA Teegala Krishna Reddy on Sunday distributed Kalyanalakshmi cheques among 364 beneficiaries at the Mandal Parishad general body meeting. The amount distributed among them was Rs 2,15,22,760.

Hailing State Legislative Assembly passing the bill to convert tribal thandas into gram panchayats, he said that Maheshwaram mandal developed in all respects during the past three years under the TRS rule. Also, he said that Tukkuguda, Mankhal, Sardanagar and Ravira have been upgraded into municipalities.
The newly created panchayats Nandupalli, Pedda Thanda, Peddamma Thanda, dabilguda, Ramchandraguda, MD Thanda, KC Thanda, Mohabbat Nagar, Gangarao, Dilwarguda, Pulimukta and Kotta thanda have been allocated funds in the state’s budget for 2018-19.
The Chief Minister submitted proposals to get special development funds from the center for development of basic amenities in ST thandas in Maheshwaram thanda. MPDO Neeraja Reddy, MPP Pentamala Sneha Suresh, Vice-MPP Swapna Navin, ZPTC Eswara Naik, saprnach Anandam and others took part in the meeting.
