MLA donates Rs 50k to family

Suraram: Local legislator KP Vivekananda on Tuesday handed over Rs 50,000 to Helavath Gopal Naik whose house was damaged in a fire mishap on Monday night.

Gopal Naik was informed about the incident while he and family were at his son’s marriage function. Fire brigade was rushed in to put off the flames. But, the damage was already done. After getting information about the incident, the MLA visited the spot and handed over the amount to help the aggrieved family.
