Hyderabad: Chairman of Media Academy of Telangana Allam Narayana on Sunday called upon the journalists to be responsible while reporting news. He was addressing the one-day State Level Media Sensitisation Programme organised by Media Academy of Telangana along with NGOs Mahitha and Plan India. The chairman expected their commitment in moral values to avert atrocities on children and women.

Allam advised to take precautions in crime reporting and awareness on legislations. He also stressed to support victims to bring credibility to the news. Andhra Jyothy Editor K Srinivas advised to maintain secrecy of names, photos and address of the victims while reporting. Senior journalists Tankasala Ashok, Vanaja, public prosecutor Rajeswar Rao, academy secretary B Rajamouli, Plan India senior programmer Anita Kumar, Mahitha manager Rubina Philips were present.
