Charminar: For encouraging students and inculcating scientific temper, The Saviour Foundation on Sunday organised an inter-school social science competition, SCIFEST 2018. In this competition schools from different localities displayed science and social awareness models at the event which was organised at Urdu Maskan in Khilwath.
The chief guests as well as the judges for the event were Zareena Sultana, director, Bharathi Vidyalaya College of Education & Training and Sunshine Preschool and Daycare, Dr Mir Hussain Ali Khan, director, The Dental Practice, and Dr Osman Ahmed, Vice Principal, Deccan School of Pharmacy. Naqui Husain, foundation’s president, and Riaz Ali Mirza, founder of the foundation said that the event SCIFEST was conceptualized and organised for the youngsters of the society with a view to provide them a fun oriented practical learning platform focusing their inter personal and communication skills as well.
“The Saviour Foundation aims at the educational upgradation by introducing fun and practical learning opportunities for the overall development of the young generation. We look forward to organise many more such events in different sphere of education going forward and make those an annual brand”, said Naqui Husain, president of the organisation. Students of Focus Bridge School, Solar High School, Al Zehra School of Excellence and Springdale High School were declared winners under different categories.
