The Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) has initiated a green revolution program ‘TITA GREEN PLEDGE’ to protect and safe guard the environment. The pledge covers various simple day to day activities which impact the environmental sustainability. TITA understands the immense damage being caused to the environment by rapid urbanization and is of the view that by bringing small changes to our life style will bring substantial impact to preserve the nature. Telangana Forest & Environment Minister Mr. Jogu Ramanna is initiating “TITA Green Pledge” on 22nd December 2014 at his chambers in Secretariat and is providing his support to the green cause.

"People will accept this pledge by planting a tree and pledging by it to protect the tree by watering, mulching and removing litter. Replacing plastic bags with reusable shopping bags, turning off electrical appliances when not in use, Conserving water, Minimizing pollution and Recycle e-waste are some of the other aspects included in this pledge. The best part of this pledge is that participants also ensure to encourage their family, friends and neighbors to accept this pledge for a righteous cause and support the green revolution. TITA intends to spread awareness in the society through this initiative and will use social medium platforms like Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp effectively to spread it in the society. “ said TITA Founder & President Sundeep Kumar Makthala.
“TITA Green Pledge initiative is a long-term vision of developing sustainable environment in Telangana State, which focuses from the ground up, working hand in hand with Telangana Government, public service partners and corporates. TITA will support & actively participate in Telangana Government ambitious project Haritha Haaram." Said Makthala.
