Nalgonda: A case of honour killing came to the light on Tuesday at Teededu village of Chintapally mandal in Nalgonda district when the parents of a girl admitted that they have killed their daughter after they saw her with a boy.
According to Chintapally SI Nagabhushanam, parents of the victim girl, Radhika (13), who saw the girl with a youngster outside their home on September 15, got into an argument with the girl. Agitated over their daughter’s behaviour, they killed her the same night.
To escape from the crime, they set the dead body of the girl on fire and succeeded in making others believe in their fabricated story.
Suspecting the parents attitude during the inquiry, police took them into custody and interrogated in their style. During the probe, girl’s parents, Narasimha and Lingamma, admitted to their crime. Police remanded them after registering a case.
