Rajnath Singh expressed his joy over the Party's victory and stated that the results for BJP this time mark a new era in the Indian Politics. This is the first major victory with clear majority ever since 1984 for BJP. He stated that Modi Sarakr is all geared up to change the face of the Nation.
Singh thanked the NDA allied who fought in tandem with the Party to sweep across the Nation with a winning count. When asked about the final selection of the Party's cabinet, Rajnath Singh stated that there will be a Central Parliament Board Meeting that will be held tomorrow in which BJP members will finalize the responsibilities to be entrusted to the core team. This decision will made on the basis of majority ruling.

He greatly revered L K Advani and stated that he is their senior member and a guardian who will continue to be so.
