Technology finds its place everywhere in the contemporary world. Can’t it be used to curb the corruption might have been the question that bothered the Delhi police. They have come out with a unique solution for the same. The situation wherein an officer demands for a bribe could be recorded and the video should be sent to the 991064164 through WhatsApp. An action will be initiated against such officer, added sources. This turns to be the unique gift given to the Delhi people by the Delhi Police Commissioner.

The video will be initially sent for Forensic examination and if it is proven genuine in the forensic report, then an action will be initiated against the people concerned. The anti corruption line has come into force w.e.f August 6, added sources. As many as 43 complaints have already been received by now, of which only 5 cases were found to be genuine. The people are urged not to misuse the facility. A wide publicity has been given to make the people aware of the services.
