Priest killed to lift offerings box

Nellore: Few unidentified thieves lifted the offerings box after killing the priest over there at Chintaalamma temple in Chemudugunta village of Venkatachalam mandal, near Nellore.

It is evident that similar cases had created sensations for last few weeks. It is worth mentioning here that all such crimes have been centred in Nellore and Prakasam districts only. But, this incident is first of its kind wherein the priest of the temple has been killed before lifting the hundi of the temple. More details awaited.
