The boy’s summit clash was a close affair with players from both teams putting up a spirited fight before Nizamabad managed to wrest the initiative and post a narrow 11-10 win over Mahaboobnagar.
Meanwhile, the girl’s final was a washout with Medak clobbering the hapless Nizamabad girls 12-0. Warangal clinched the third place in both events.
Later, N Mahesh Varma, Treasurer of Hyderabad District Softball Association gave away the prizes in the presence of international D Abhishek Goud and K Shobhan Babu, General Secretary of Telangana Softball Association.
