Manikonda turns out to be apprehensive for dwelling?

Over a period of time bullets are rushing towards the people at Manikonda in Hyderabad. This very issue has caused the local residents fearful. They wonder whether they can live safely in that area. It is worth recollecting here at this juncture that a bullet has offended the hand of Srinivasa Chary, a local resident. In another incident, a bullet was found fell near a residential house on Sunday. The police got these bullets tested at the forensic lab and felt that the bullets have its roots in the Artillery Centre in Golconda.

This is not a new phenomenon that the bullets rush towards the residential complexes at Manikonda. Similar incidents have taken place in the past as well. After a few people sustained injuries, there went on the discussions between the army authorities and police authorities. Subsequently, the cases were minimized. Nevertheless, the situation tuned back and there is a need to address the matter.

In general, a firing range is supposed to be located far away from the residential area. Also, there should be adequate number of display signs and flags whenever range firing practice takes place. Most probably, when the firing range was established, there might have been no dwelling units in Manikonda. Slowly, the area turned to be a dwelling area and mushroomed with homes within no time. But, the Army might have not bothered to shift the firing range. Of course, the first move should come from the civil authorities in such cases. So, adequate talks between the civil and military authorities would surely address the problem.
