KCR govt mulls curbs on media?

The Telangana government which claims that it is committed to maintain transparency in governance is understood to be contemplating to impose curbs on access to information by media. According to sources, the government has obtained some inputs from the intelligence department and is said to be considering to keep the state Secretariat out of bounds for the media. Sources say that one of the proposals under consideration is to issue special entry passes to select media.
