Revanth Reddy to face expulsion from House

With TDP MLA Revanth Reddy facing backlash from the ruling party TRS as a special session is said to convene in the Assembly over the cash for vote scam and the TDP MLA might face expulsion from the membership of the House with TRS planning to adopt a resolution for the expulsion.

On Monday, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao along with Finance Minister Etela Rajender and Legislative Affairs Minister T. Harish Rao is said to have discussed that the House will have to take severe action against the member who indulged in cash for vote another member of the same House.

Earlier in 2005, the Chief Minister informed that few MPs who resorted to cash for questions were expelled by the Parliament. Telangana Assembly under the Article 191 has every right to discipline its own members which is the view of the TRS leadership.
