The Special Court for Anti-Corruption Bureau Cases at Nampally, on Tuesday, adjourned the hearing on the bail petition of TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy, who was arrested in the \'Cash for Vote\' case to June 5. The hearing was adjourned as the ACB could not file its counter petition and sought some more time to do so. Directing the Public Prosecutor to file the counter on June 5, the court adjourned the hearing to next Friday.
Hyderabad: The Special Court for Anti-Corruption Bureau Cases at Nampally, on Tuesday, adjourned the hearing on the bail petition of TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy, who was arrested in the 'Cash for Vote' case to June 5. The hearing was adjourned as the ACB could not file its counter petition and sought some more time to do so. Directing the Public Prosecutor to file the counter on June 5, the court adjourned the hearing to next Friday.
The court also directed that Revanth Reddy be shifted from Chanchalguda Jail to Cherlapally Central Prison. On court's direction, Revanth Reddy was shifted to Cherlapally jail, on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, TDP leaders including Errabelli Dayakar Rao, L Ramana, P Keshava and other called on Revanth Reddy at the Chanchalguda jail in the noon. Later, they also met the family members of Revanth Reddy at his residence and assured them that the TDP would continue its fight for justice.
