On the occasion of Muharram on Saturday, a huge procession is planned to be taken out in the Old City. The police have made elaborate arrangements with security tightened. While traffic restrictions have been put into effect that will continue till 9 PM, around 3,000 policemen have been deployed apart from placing CCTV cameras at the venue.
Shia Muslims will begin the procession from Bibi-ka-Alam that will continue to Yakutpura, Dabirpura, Purani Haveli, Charminar and Chaderghat areas.
